Digital Skills

Digital Learning At Cedarbank School, we are committed to removing barriers to learning, with a focus on equity and enhancing the learning experiences of all our young people through the use of digital technologies.

We have developed our Digital Learning Strategy around the provision that each of our learners has access to a netbook at all times within school, as well as the use of other digital technologies and devices. This will enable a higher level of individualised differentiation when supporting our pupils to reach their potential, increased engagement and attainment, leading to improved outcomes for our learners.

We are delighted to be a digital school. Through digital learning, staff provide our learners with agile and innovative learning experiences as well as developing their digital literacy skills which are invaluable in today's digital world. We are also committed to ensuring our pupils develop cyber resilience and a secure understanding of how to be a good digital citizen and stay safe online within a wide range of contexts.

Here are some websites to support your young people to stay safe online and increase their cyber resilience.
